Becoming a business angel with the BAND One Pager

Short, precise and understandable presentation of the business concept, even for people from outside the industry. How do you earn money with your business concept?

First describe your product/service and present the most important customer benefit (added value for the customer).

Explain how you differentiate yourself from the competition (e.g. through the technologies you have developed, your know-how, a patent, special market access, etc.).

Describe your relevant market (e.g. regional market, target industry, who are your customers? buying behavior, etc.). Explain the competitive situation (e.g. current competitors, competitors who could enter the market in the short term, other products/services that offer the customer the same/similar benefits, etc.). Describe the framework conditions that are relevant for the realization of your project (e.g. norms and standards, legal framework, approval requirements, etc.).

Describe your team and, if applicable, the functions of the team members and explain what experience you have with regard to the implementation of your business model (special industry experience, customer contacts, technology and know-how carriers, etc.).

Where do you currently stand? What steps have you taken so far to realize your project? Briefly describe your current status and name your successes (do you already have customers, sales, suppliers, partners, etc.?)

How much capital do you need to realize your project in the planned form? How will this be financed (e.g. partial or full financing from loans, investments, etc.)? Describe briefly how and for what you intend to use this capital. Describe the “return on investment”.
